Acid House Documentary coming soon! (English/português)

Acid House fans, it's time to jack again: "They Call It Acid - The story of 'Acid House' culture" is a documentary about to be released, directed by Gordon Manson, narrated by Robert Owens and with soundtrack compiled by "Evil" Eddie Richards. From the birth of acid house culture in UK in 1988 with roots in Chicago and Detroit to the government attack, its spread worldwide with superclubs, outdoor raves and DJs of the era becoming superstars, it seems that the whole story will be there.

The official release says: "Far from being just a culture of music, fashion and drugs, 'Acid House' broke down long lasting barriers in the UK, bringing together black and white, rich and poor and groups of previously opposing football hooligans."

The film also features interviews with Adamski, Alfredo, Carl Cox, Colin Faver, A Guy Called Gerald, Larry Heard, Marshall Jefferson, Derrick May, Paul Oakenfold, Robert Owens, Danny Rampling, Evil Eddie Richards, Jesse Saunders, Pete Tong and many others, as well as footage from first illegal clubs and parties and of police raids.

Fãs de Acid House, "it's time to jack" de novo: "They Call It Acid - The story of 'Acid House' culture" é um documentário prestes a ser lançado, dirigido por Gordon Manson, narrado por Robert Owens e com trilha sonora compilada por "Evil" Eddie Richards. Do nascimento da cultura acid house no Reino Unido em 1988 com raízes em Chicago e Detroit ao ataque governamental, sua propagação pelo mundo com os superclubs e as raves, e os DJs daquela era se tornando superstars, parece que toda a história estará lá.

O release oficial diz: "Longe de ser apenas uma cultura de música, moda e drogas, a Acid House quebrou barreiras antigas no Reino Unido, reunindo negros e brancos, ricos e pobres e grupos de hooligans do futebol que antes eram rivais".
